Free Response

After reading the next hundred or so pages in this book i came to realize how easy my life is compared to others life back in the older times. And how much small every day things can affect your life. In the book, nick probably was doing things to influence his actions at school. Such as playing first person shooters in video games or watching violent television shows. All of these things are proven to affect around 75% of the school shootings that happen in America.  But it makes me thankful the precautions we take to make sure nothing like this happens again. Schools are hiring security officers left and right to help protect the students from incidents like this from happening.
